Bisnis yang cukup mendadak karena ide nya muncul tiba-tiba. Dengan pembuatan konsep yang kilat dan terjadi perubahan serta pengembangan beberapa kali, sehingga gue butuh suntikan dana dari investor dan akhirnya berdirilah JOE’S AUTO Car Wash and Detailing yang lokasinya di Jl. Meruya Ilir Raya No. 10 sampai dengan saat ini.

Sebuah perusahaan keluarga yang dirintis bokap gue, namun beliau meninggal pada tahun 2002 disaat gue masih berusia 19 tahun, belum lulus kuliah dan tidak memiliki gambaran sama sekali mengenai bisnis ini. Perusahaan ini bergerak dibidang yang tidak umum yaitu pengolahan air limbah domestic. Gue bangun perusahaan ini dengan perlahan-lahan sambil tetap menjalankan kuliah dan bekerja juga di perusahaan lain dari bawah untuk mencari ilmu  yang dapat membantu mengembangkan perusahaan ini. Setelah seolah-olah “Vakum” akhirnya perusahaan ini telah kembali pada track yang benar dan cukup dikenal oleh banyak kontraktor dan client.

Jadi konsep gue adalah sharing dan mentoring, bukan pengajaran yang kaku dan seperti belajar dikelas, gue akan lebih memberikan motivasi dalam berbagai aspek, karena gue sebagai praktisi juga bukan sebatas hanya teori tanpa praktek namun pengalaman lebih berperan banyak.

Gue akan kasih sesi pertama selama 1 jam gratis (cukup bayar makan dan minumnya aja) untuk 10 client pertama, disini kita saling mengenal dan sharing dulu aja. Kemudian sesi kedua selama  1 jam juga dikenakan fee namun negotiable tergantung dengan tingkat kesulitannya. Disini kita mulai bahas visi dan misi. Why Pay Fee? Selain tentu saja ilmu dan motivasi yang gue berikan.  Ini merupakan bentuk dari komitmen, jika memang ingin dan serius untuk berbisnis, pasti loe akan berpikir bahwa langkah ini merupakan langkah awal yang sudah loe ambil dan harus maju terus, semua orang tentu menyukai apapun yang gratis, tapi apa loe mau dihargai dengan gratis? Not To Worry

Wow..it is been a while since my last post. Been hectic with stuff and many things in mind, and that also inspired me to write about this time. Worry means to torment oneself with or suffer from disturbing thoughts. And it is in deed a killing thought and to torment means to afflict with great bodily or mental suffering; pain. Surprisingly the dictionary itself describe the word very loud and clear. Worry is just a disturbing thoughts that torment us. 

Maybe we are worried about people, needs, money, or even some times love or attentions from someone. Can not say it is not normal to be worry. But if it is tormenting us, I say it is already wrong. Worry makes our focus blur, what can we do if we keep this tormenting thoughts in our mind and haunting us. It can even torture us more and more and more. 

So in the moment of silent I overcome this tormenting feeling by Praying. And then in a flash this thought disappear. Three things I remember that I had learn in this situation. First, we are underestimating God and His ultimate power to protect us, Second God will never gives us a problems that beyond our capacity, And Third We have to asked God for help because some people thinks maybe God always knows everything and we do not need to ask, well that is true but if we do not ask for His help how could we surrender, listen and receive the guidance helping hands of God, it is also a manifestation of Faith that we must have in order to get the Help itself. 

I am closing this writings with the quote from an old movie by Jim Carey called "Bruce Almighty". I accidentally watched on tv by the way. Funny movie but it has deep messages. One of the message is we can see the reason why God does not answer all our answer by granting all our wishes, it will be a total chaos. And the other message is the quote that god in the movie said "What they don’t realize is that they have the power. You want to see a miracle? Be the miracle."

Bad Day or Bad Thought ?

Have you ever felt that in a day you have so many bad thing happens ? Be grateful if you never experience it. But I bet many answers "YES I have" and it happen to me recently too. Just like a video clip, a song from Daniel Powter playing through my head..."You had a bad day...You had a bad day..."
A Stressful day...Yes it is...But as I was drown into the concept of "Bad day" and thinking "Damn, What a bad day..what day is it today...what date is it today...", Does it matter? What day God created as a bad day? None!
The concept of a bad day will drag us even into a worse day if we admit that it is a Bad day. So think again..Bad day or Bad Thought? The day or the mind set? Many things may  happen in a day, maybe big things maybe small things, maybe lucky event, maybe bad event. In some coincidence maybe the universe just against us today? Nope. Never.
Think again, Heads Up. And doesn't matter what happen, you will and you must go through the day until it ends. Are you going to focused on the problems that you're facing and feel sorry for yourself ? Or  focused on the solution and move on to the next level ? Leverage the quality, Leverage the thought, Leverage the faith and the hope. Good Luck. All things good happens forward never backwards.

Social Phenomena

This is my own words to describe what I am going to write. At first I don't have a clue what is the word to represents it.
This is about relationships. What is the first thing that came up in your mind if you heard the word relationships?  Two individuals, two different individuals with one commitment, one purpose or maybe even different purposes. Two individuals can have many similarity or a lot differences. And different background. How about same sex relationships? not in a regular way of a friendship, I mean more than friends. Maybe some people will always call them a phenomena of the social life. But some people who live in that environment will have a different point of view. Are we going to judge? what is more important, finding the odds or finding the love? We may speak of them, we may look at them differently, but have you ever really know the story? I don't think it is easy for them to be different too. Spread the love not the odds.
Some people have a relationships to fulfill their ego, their needs. Too many reason for two individuals can be together not because of love, not because of unconditional feelings that simply just because they need each other for what they are. Too many factor that influence a relationships, such as family, environment, work, power, matter and many others
Either we stand as a spectators or we are the actor in the stage of relationships, either you see with your eyes or with your heart, with your logic or with your feelings.
I realize that relationships is a very sensitive topics to be discussed. Every single individuals have their own reasons to be together or to be apart , we all knows not all relationships ends with a happy ending. Hopefully not to judge or offend anyone, we just need to be aware, where we want to stand. The one that gets hurt or the one that gets what we want. Know what you seek, what you want a relationship. Love is never blind, sometimes we just don't want to see clearly when we are in love. Stay awake, be smart, spread love.
In the End...is it a Phenomena or not ? It depends on which point of view are we see, what value that we held. Each person just want to be Happy. But do not search for happiness but live happily. Let's have a good social live, know our positions, know where we stand, there will always be a new phenomena in life. That's Life.

Lost & Found

Nothing last forever is one of Maroon 5's famous song. Even though this songs is about a relationship but it is also some of the fact that nothing last forever...in this world. Not encouraging to end a relationship, but in life sometimes we just have to accept the fact that many things come and go, many people come and go in our lives. But we have to admit that some are here to stay too. Keep it, guard it and be thankful what we have for now, we never knows it will never last forever. Make sure we fight for something worth it, something that we have for now.
Sometimes we can not avoid that loosing something or somebody is not a rare thing that happen in life. Loosing is never been easy, even the sweetest goodbye is painful. But I've learn in order to found something better and greater than we have now, we must move and lost what we have for now. Have a big heart and have faith that God always have Bigger plans ahead of us. Grateful heart is all we need to have facing the pain of loosing. Be Strong and Believe.
I dedicate this writings to inspire some of my dear friends who lost their love ones, Be strong and have faith. Everything will be OK. Loosing is painful, but drowning in regrets is never been a good solution, wake up and move on, what doesn't kill us will make us stronger...We are loved...

Work Work Work

Every single person in this world must work. Even housewife is doing their work, I can say it is the hardest job in the world, no doubt about it. Working is a vocation, don't let it be just a routine that we must do every single day, over and over again. The wrong understanding of working will make us bored and unproductive. The most important thing about work is how we create something from nothing, and that is how we be Thankful and Glorify our God. Make people satisfied with our work, been there and it was on of the best feeling in the world.
And be careful, we can work as hard as we can, because how much we love our job, but the time that we spend for working are priceless. Money or any rewards that we get from working are not the only thing that make the value of our work, it is the achievement that you earn and the time that you used during your work. Is the time worth to spend by working rather than having a quality time with your love ones? Work hard, work wise and work smart.
Have passion in the work or in everything that we do will make a big differences. Stop doing what we are doing now rather then we are doing it without the heart. it is worthless and wasting time. Start Moving on and make a change.
I was at my weakest point when I was starting to change my career from an IT Consultant which I also love that job and at a very comfort zone, to an full time Entrepreneur. Everybody didn't have any doubts with my ideas and capability. Just one thing that I realize it's true until now.. The courage to begin!
Always hard to start a new thing, because sometimes we think too much, we analyze too much. Just do what you want to do then move from there. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger.
Do not be afraid to learn something new, who knows this new thing might be our biggest achievement that haven't been discover. Life is about endless learning anyway, we may not be perfect but a true person always learn and leverage their level to be someone better. When you stop learning, you will be left behind. Never stop moving forward, Be Blessed.

Family

Don't be mistaken by the word of family. Not all family are perfect happy text book family like it was thought to us at School. Family is about value. Family is about foundation what made us to be what kind of person we are now.
Some family can be really bond together and some are just can't. But don't be mistaken by the outside appearance, the silent mutual understanding sometimes is better than fake actions. Sometimes the concept to protect, to help, to care may not be sincere. I heard many backstabbing stories between family members. Many lies and fake things just to keep one's purpose without thinking of other feeling or happiness. Of course this is a common thing in social life. But in a family? Our family, the closest person in our life (should be). Should an ego, be forced to others, should other aspect ruin the ideal concept of a family. I should bluntly say the most common aspect is money, heritage and wealth. Where is the value?  Is it worth?
Strange but often happen is warnings or rules that parents made are so hard to understand and complicated even though we know that they are a form of care and love. But sometimes they also do not realize that world are simply different, life is different for every person, value is different for every person even for identical twins. Understanding is the new level of care
Just simply respect each other, care for their happiness 1st, family is about love, just like what I've wrote about Love Life. "I love you" means sincerity, nothing in return, unconditional.
Love them with all your heart, protect them WISELY with your life, Respect their hope and dreams. We will never know when the time comes, even a simple goodbye will be impossible to said.

This one is dedicated specially to my late Dad, a great teacher, a wise preacher, an excellent leader, a true friend that really listen with understanding, a true warrior (literally a martial artist) and a smart entrepreneur. Best Father anyone can ever wish for.
